I was walking along looking for somebody, and then suddenly I wasn't anymore.

 --Winnie The Pooh (A.A. Milne)

I don't really have the words to describe how participating in these last few Hipcamp campouts has warmed my heart, filled me with gratitude or affected my personal path.  I defer instead to the many wise words of A.A. Milne via Winnie, the Pooh Bear.

For the second time this summer, the Hipcamp team has blown me away with their vision, values, and vibes.  They continue to create these enjoyable and enlightening events in the woods, introducing new faces to stewarded lands and unforeseen friendships.  Just about everyone I've met on a campout has been inspired by their unique experience out there.  It's nothing crazy, just a small bunch of folks camping in the woods and learning one or two cool new things.  At the heart of it, it's quite simple, really.  That may be why the result is so awesome.  As I've said, I don't quite have the right words, so I'll leave you with one more A.A. Milne quote instead:

"Sometimes,' said Pooh, 'the smallest things take up the most room in your heart."
